Long story short am going to my husbands brothers wedding in like 10 days, my mother has passed away some time ago and i have no sisters, so i kinda need some girly make up, hair etc advice. My husbands family are very different from mine and in their culture the sisters of the groom and me the sister in law, have to wear a shortish formal dress the day before the wedding for that special party, and on the wedding day wear a full length gorgeous evening dress, i have nevered been the girly type, and well i have my dresses and scary high heeled shoes , that i admit i have been practising walkin in. But i need advice on how to do my hair and make up. I am skinny but have curves, am pale white, green eyed, and have dark brown shoulder length hair (someone told me this kinda thing helps with make up advice lol). My sisters in law and i dont get on at all, so any advice they would give me would be bad and make me look terrible, the whole of his family will be there, and i have to try and look decent, as if i dont, thats me some how disrespecting them and wishing them the worst for there marriage, so i really need help lol. even if you can recomend me to some website about make up application or something, that would be great, as i ain't great at all in this department lol. thanks for any advice. xxxc

situation thanks x
If you never needed to do it before, then you just don't think about it
I am glad
you are going to a salon, too. I think you should feel beter about it all after you see how easily it comes together
Be confident and enjoy yourself. If the family doesn't appreciate your efforts- who cares! I am sure the hubby will
Good luck and share a pic with us if you like
sounds like an important event for you. Why don't you go to a Bobbi Brown or MAC cosmetics counter and get some makeup tips and new products. Have you looked at tha Beauty Product Junkies page here on sugar yet? User 'CCee' has some wonderful tutorials- one may suit you. too. Go to salon and have them do your hair the morning of the wedding. Book these things quickly since time is short. Good luck! I know you want to make a good impression, but don't let them get to you either
